When Does a Child See a Counselor? |
Examples of needing to see a counselor include: trouble with friends, problems with school work/academics, issues at home, personal struggles, getting in trouble, low self-esteem, bullying, feelings of being left out or not fitting in, test anxiety, behavioral matters, and an overall need for someone to listen and not judge. Counselors help students come up with strategies to address the topics at hand and grow as an overall successful, productive, and happy individual.
